Cybersecurity Overview & Updates, and Innovation Through SBIR & STTR (Track 2)

In recent years new cybersecurity requirements have been issued for Federal government contractors. The first session of this two-part training will provide a brief overview about current cybersecurity requirements, recent updates you should be aware of as a Federal government contractor, and feature a cybersecurity panel discussion. The second part of this training will highlight the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. SBIR/STTR programs are an important source of early-stage technology funding for small businesses to engage in federal research, and research and development (R&D) with the potential for commercialization. You will receive a brief update about SBIR/STTR, and also learn how these programs have helped R&D focused entrepreneurs, and advanced R&D research and development in various technology areas.
